The Eye Catcher brings video conferencing functionality to your desk. Now you can beam people at your desk whenever you want with a single touch of a button. A webcam creates an image of another person on your screen, but due to size of the image, quality of the image, quality of the sound and the extreme absence of eye contact it will never create the virtual presence effect required to have an effective video communication replacing a personal visit. Yes, the Eye Catcher has MCU functionality (optional) to connect 4 sites at the same time.

Yes, the Eye Catcher has a presentation pack. With this feature you can show presentations from your laptop on a beamer or display on the remote side.

- Is it secure to communicate over the internet?
Eye Catcher to Eye Catcher calls are fully encrypted (DES or AES) to ensure nobody can peek into your conversation.

- can I use a DSL internet connection
For optimal performance the Eye Catcher needs 0,5 Mbps bandwidth, upstream and downstream. As video communication is real time this bandwidth needs to be available all the time during your call. Any DSL connection that provides a minimal of 0,5 Mbps “guaranteed” bandwidth is sufficient to use the Eye Catcher.
